With regenerative braking, braking energy is converted into electricity to help recharge the battery as you drive. The Prius Plug-in Hybrid makes it easy to stay in charge, with a standard Level 1 charging cable, and Level 2 charging connector, so you can plug in at home, at work, or at most public charging stations across the country.

Poised with a low and wide stance, the battery is under the rear seat for low centre of gravity. The 5th generation hybrid powertrain and 2.0L 4-cylinder engine deliver enhanced acceleration with 220 horsepower and a 0-100 km/h time of 6.8 seconds.


The 2nd generation TNGA-C creates a wider stance and a lower driving position that feels sporty, yet comfortable. The available larger 19” alloy wheels channel the athletic spirit as well as delivering added performance and handling for the driver. Available on the XSE and above.

From its driver-centric console and soft-touch materials to heated front seats and available Qi wireless charging, the Prius PHEV combines everyday comfort with a fun-to-drive experience.
